My Story

Meet Parnel

In 2011, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Five years later, a dear friend passed away from a stroke after dealing with these same conditions I too had. I made the decision right then and there to change to a healthier lifestyle. I completely changed my unhealthy habits and started a healthier diet (lifestyle) and within just 3 months, my body was able to revert back to its natural state. Consequently, I was taken off the meds I was taking for all three because I no longer needed them. And during the transition, I lost about 40 lbs.

Meet Deana

In 2017, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, stage 1. What a surprise this was. After going through chemo and radiation, I put on 35 lbs. It was bad enough I had cancer, lost my hair, but to gain the 35 lbs was even worse. Then I met Parnel. He spoke to me about his story and how important it was to stay away from certain foods, especially with having had cancer. So, I started working out with him and following his diet. And it worked. I lost all of the weight I had gained, my hair came back, even fuller, and my confidence was stronger than ever.
I continue with the diet to this day, however, I had to slightly modify it due to my medications.

It’s so hard for me to eat out at restaurants not knowing if my stomach is going to get upset, not knowing what’s in the food and how it’s cooked. When I cook with Parnel and eat his food, I have no worries. Not only does the food taste delicious, I know it’s healthy and most importantly, it agrees with me.
